Consent to electronic transactions and signatures
Please read this disclosure carefully. If you continue to review or sign a document through eSignIQ, you are indicating that you agree to conduct this transaction using electronic communications, to receive agreements, notices, and other records electronically where offered, and to use electronic signatures when you apply your signature in the eSignIQ workflow.
The organization or person that sent you the document for signature, and, where applicable, its related entities, is referred to below as the “Sending Party.” eSignIQ (provided by Bytenetix) supplies the software and infrastructure the Sending Party uses to deliver the signing experience; contractual and operational questions about the underlying transaction should be directed to the Sending Party.
Personal information you provide
When you complete a signing flow, you may provide information such as your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, and signature data. By submitting that information, you acknowledge that the Sending Party may collect, verify, store, and otherwise process it as reasonably necessary to complete the transaction, maintain records, and meet legal or compliance obligations.
The Sending Party may use service providers (including eSignIQ and other subprocessors) to host data, deliver messages, prevent fraud, or support operations. Some providers may process or store information in countries other than your own. How the Sending Party handles personal data may also be described in its privacy notices and in the eSignIQ Privacy Policy where eSignIQ acts as a processor on behalf of customers.
Electronic delivery and signing are not mandatory
You are not obligated to receive documents only in electronic form or to sign using electronic signatures. If you prefer paper copies or non-electronic procedures, you may ask the Sending Party for alternatives, subject to their processes and any applicable law.
You may also withdraw your consent to use electronic records and signatures for future interactions with the Sending Party as described below. Withdrawing consent does not undo valid transactions that were completed before your withdrawal, to the extent permitted by law.
Paper copies
You may request paper copies of documents instead of, or in addition to, electronic versions. Where the eSignIQ interface provides download or print options, you can often retain a copy yourself. The Sending Party may also email you PDF copies or other attachments as part of the process.
If you want paper copies supplied by the Sending Party, close the signing session if needed and contact the Sending Party using the contact details they have provided. The Sending Party may charge a reasonable fee for printing and mailing, where allowed.
Withdrawal of consent
You may withdraw consent to conduct business electronically, to receive agreements or notices electronically, or to sign documents using electronic signatures, by notifying the Sending Party in writing (or by any method the Sending Party specifies). After withdrawal, the Sending Party should tell you how they will deliver paper documents or what steps are required to continue the relationship.
Scope of consent
When you proceed in eSignIQ for a given document or envelope, your consent generally applies to the electronic communications, records, and signatures associated with that transaction and other documents the Sending Party clearly links to the same relationship or program, unless a narrower scope is stated.
You may withdraw consent at any time for future activity; procedures are determined by the Sending Party and applicable law.
Disclaimer
Documents you signed electronically before a valid withdrawal of consent generally remain effective according to applicable law. Notices or records delivered electronically before withdrawal also generally remain valid.
If you use eSignIQ again after withdrawing consent, your new session may constitute a fresh agreement to receive and sign electronically for that activity.
Paper copies, withdrawal, and contact updates
When the signing experience includes download or print controls, you may keep a copy for your records.
For the requests below, contact the Sending Party using the contact information they shared with you (for example in the invitation email or cover message). If you experience a technical problem using eSignIQ (such as an error loading the document), you may email support@esigniq.io; our team can help with product access issues but cannot set paper-copy policies or contract terms for the Sending Party.
